Values Development

“The three hardest tasks in the world are neither physical feats nor intellectual achievements, but moral acts: to return love for hate, to include the excluded and to say “I was wrong”.” – Sydney J. Harris

Values are the most important component of education. At Shishuvan, values are integrated into students through both the curriculum and expected behaviours.

Group and peer work during activities promote values such as cooperation and teamwork. There is a thoughtful effort to incorporate values with the content in subjects like languages and social studies. Additionally, every week includes a personal development class that follows a curated curriculum aimed at:

  • Instilling values through a curriculum developed in collaboration with ECube, a division of Shrimad RajChandra's Divine touch.
  • Addressing age-appropriate issues such as bullying, sex education, group dynamics, and peer acceptance.
  • Promoting awareness of safety and security topics like bullying, cyber safety, abuse, and POCSO.
  • Encouraging tolerance and fraternity through the rendition of prayers in different languages throughout the week.
