In this 21st Century, there are many children who overuse technology, gadgets and there is a constant threat of exposure to the diseases related to a sedentary lifestyle. In Shishuvan, we wish to create citizens who will value fitness and are physically, mentally and emotionally strong. Thus, we have a well designed and planned Sports curriculum to help enhance the skills like team work, balance, flexibility, agility and endurance.

Nursery and Jr.Kg. students do playground activities with their respective class teachers within the school schedule. The main focus is on developing gross and fine motor skills. Playground time with the Sports teacher is introduced in Sr.Kg and the students get exposure to age relevant organized games.

Students of Std I to IV have games and gymnastics sessions every week. The focus is to develop the skills – endurance, strength, speed, agility, flexibility, coordination and balance. The students are also trained for March Past from Std I. From Std III, an exposure is given to the students of the various games offered by the school from Std VI.

Early morning Sports coaching is an integral part of the school schedule and every student goes through a rigorous Sports coaching programme from Std VI to X. Our students have made us proud by representing the school in Competitions like AISM, DSO, MSSA, SGFI by reaching Zonal, Regional, State, National and International levels.
