Values Development

“The three hardest tasks in the world are neither physical  feats nor intellectual achievements, but moral acts: to return love for hate, to include the excluded and to say “I was wrong”.” – Sydney J. Harris

Values are the most important component of education. Through curriculum as well as expected conduct, values are imbibed in Shishuvan. Group and peer work during activities promote values like co-operation and teamwork. In languages and social studies, special emphasis is done on connecting values with the content. Every week there is a personal development class which is a curated curriculum which caters to –

  • Imbibing Values through a curriculum in collaboration with ECube, (a division of Shrimad RajChandra’s Divinetouch).
  • Age relevant issues like bullying, sex education, group dynamics, acceptance from peers etc.
  • Awareness to safety and security related topics like – bullying, cyber safety, abuse, POCSO.
Rendition of prayers in different languages through the week helps students to develop tolerance and fraternity.
