During this stage, the emphasis is on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters holistic development in children. The curriculum focuses on activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and creative skills. It often includes play-based learning, storytelling, music, art, craft, handwork, water play, sand play, basic language development, and numerical activities.
Keeping in mind the developmental needs of early childhood, learning is facilitated by providing sensory experiences, regular field visits and bringing the external world into the classroom through resource people interaction.
The school timings for Playschool are
Monday to Friday in 2 batches 9:00 am to 10:30 am 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
The school timings for Nursery, Jr.KG and Sr.KG are -Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 11:30 am
The curriculum embraces arts, craft, music and movement, computers and age-appropriate sports activities. The counselors and special educators support the child’s academic, emotional and social success in school. The resource room is a space where organized free play activities specifically to cater to fine and gross motor skills are conducted. These activities also give immense scope for the students to think, create, explore without formal instructions and experience the joy of achievement and discovery.
The aim of the Pre-primary is to sustain the children’s inherent curiosity and love for learning. Thus, we provide learning experiences keeping in mind the children’s individual learning styles. The school’s events-sports day, fair, annual day and project day are important learning spaces for all the children to explore their talents.
